Nearly 80 years in the making, the most comprehensive downloadable guide to bird sounds is now available—The Cornell Guide to Bird Sounds: Master Set for North America. Nearly 300 recordists through the decades captured the sounds of wailing loons, warbling warblers, grunting grouse, and everything in between. The 4,938 tracks were selected from nearly 200,000 recordings in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Macaulay Library—the world’s largest archive of  animal sounds. Continue reading…
