Humboldt Institute (Bogotá, Colombia) 
2000-2003

  • Systematized and managed the database of Humboldt Institute’s sound collection.
  • Participated in the maintenance and set up of studio equipment at the Humboldt Institute.
  • Digitally acquired, edited, cataloged, and burned onto CD over 7000 cuts from analog field recordings for entry into the Humboldt Institute sound collection.
  • Designed and programmed digital filters for the restoration and enhancement of noisy field recordings as part of CD production of Colombian bird sounds.
  • Mastered sounds using ProTools and MasterList CD as part of CD productions of Colombian bird sounds.
  • Made field recordings of Colombian birds, in addition to becoming familiar with most standard field recording techniques.
